This section includes photographs of examples of custom banjos parts that have been done by Ron Raymer. They are not intended to be designs to choose from.

Ron does not build instruments, but rather is a service to luthiers.  For over 30 years he has designed and engraved patterns, carved heels, peg heads and resonators for scores of instruments.  He has duplicated the work done on vintage instruments and custom designed many according to the customer's request.

He is happy to work with luthiers on custom instruments or help individual musicians personalize their instruments.  Each request must be discussed to establish the time and cost involved.

The selected photos of instruments are not patterns available, but rather examples of a few of the many jobs Ron has done in the past.  They are to serve as ideas and inspiration.  If you are interested in having custom work done, please contact us.
